1. Who we are

Apex Amino ("we", "us") operates this verification gateway and the associated store. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have. Contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

• Information you give us — name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and order details when you buy from us or contact support.
• Verification records — when you confirm the statements on our gateway we record the date and time, your IP address, your browser user agent, and which statements you confirmed.
• Technical information — pages viewed, referring URL, device and browser type, and similar log data.
• Cookies and similar technologies — see section 5.

3. Why we collect it

We use this information to:

• confirm that buyers are 18 or over and are purchasing for laboratory research use only;
• keep a compliance record showing what was confirmed, and when;
• process, ship and support orders;
• prevent fraud, abuse and automated access;
• measure and improve our advertising and our website;
• meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (processing your order), legal obligation (age-restricted supply and record keeping), legitimate interests (site security, fraud prevention, measuring advertising) and consent (optional marketing and non-essential cookies).

5. Cookies

We use a verification cookie to remember that you have completed the gateway, so you are not asked again on the same device for 30 days. It stores a simple flag and an expiry, not your identity.

Where enabled, we also use analytics and advertising technologies such as Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel to measure campaign performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the verification step will then be shown again on each visit.

6. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• service providers who host our sites, process payments, ship orders and provide support;
• analytics and advertising providers, in the form of aggregated or hashed event data;
• professional advisers, regulators or law enforcement where we are required to do so by law.

7. Retention

Verification and consent records are kept for as long as needed to evidence compliance, normally up to 5 years. Order and tax records are kept for the period required by law. Other data is deleted when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.

8. Security

We use TLS encryption, access controls and rate limiting to protect the information we hold. Verification logs are stored outside the public web root and are not publicly accessible. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. 10. Children

This site is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed there or in other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Our pages may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices; read their policies before sharing information with them.
